Great hotel, be aware of its location
The hotel is modern and the room is small, but cosy and comfortable. Lots of amenities available to use.
The property was great, the only downside was the location as the hotel is between 10-15 min walk to nearby metro stations.

What was the highlight of Nest Hotel Osaka Umeda
Nice, clean hotel stay with
The hotel and the room was very nice. The front desk offered luggage storage when we arrived several hours before the check-in time. The room itself was very clean and quiet. The bathroom was very comfortable and we had no issues getting hot water for showers and baths. You have a choice of just having towels exchanged or having your room and beds made, which you indicate with the corresponding magnet placed on the hallway side of the door. The hotel is <10 min walk from Umeda Station, where you can then use as your hub to other parts of Osaka. There's also restaurants and lots of shopping close by as Umeda is a popular shopping district.
It is a tight squeeze for 3 people in the room we had, which was more like 2 normal beds and 1 sofa bed. With 3 travelers in this room, don't expect to have your luggage open at all times and still have room to walk around easily. However, most hotel rooms in Japan are very compact anyways, so nothing out of the ordinary.

What was the highlight of Nest Hotel Osaka Umeda
Good location in Osaka but a little rundown from use.
Room was tiny, carpet felt old and tired (i.e. dirty), and there was a hole in the wall from use and stucco/paint chipping. Bed and bathroom were clean. My room overlooked the busy road (i.e. noise if you are sensitive) and Tadao Ando building (very cool for architecture fans).
Overpriced for how rundown the room felt. Could do with some renovations.

What was the highlight of Nest Hotel Osaka Umeda
A bit cramped, but overall a nice stay
The good: room is cozy, clean, has good air conditioning, the bathroom is basic but good, there are spaces to hang coats (we went in winter), a small desk, and the complimentary coffee in the room is super nice. The location is honestly not bad, we managed to walk okay from Umeda Station with big luggages. There's a 7-11 and a Lawson's nearby, and some places to eat nearby as well.
The not-so-good: the room might feel cramped. I'm 162cm and my partner is 175cm and we felt a little cramped in the space. If you have large luggages, you might find it hard to open and close them as the only place to store them would be the floor, which is also the hallway (ish).
